Florida Keys History and Distribution: Not reported for the Florida Keys by John Kunkel Small in 1913. Reported for Big Pine Key (Franklin, 1968) and the National Key Deer Refuge (Austin et al., 1980) in the lower Florida Keys. We consider this native and extant only on Big Pine Key.
