Florida Keys History and Distribution: Not reported for the Florida Keys by John Kunkel Small in 1913. Cultivated in the Florida Keys for decades, but apparently not naturalized. However, this has naturalized (mostly from root suckers) in other parts of Florida and could be potentially become naturalized in the Florida Keys.
