South Florida History and Distribution: Ranked as possibly extirpated in Rare Plants of South Florida (
Gann et al. 2002; pp 180-182) based on several collections and observations between 1903 and 1944 from Brickell Hammock in downtown Miami and the Flamingo area of Everglades National Park. No new records are known.
