South Florida History and Distribution: Collected once in Miami-Dade County in 1964 (
Lakela 27256 USF) at "Palm hammock and pineland adjacent to Deering property" in the vicinity of Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden; also reported once for Matheson Hammock Park (McMahon s.d.) and the Richmond Pine Rocklands (Robinson & McMahon 1999), but these reports were never verified by others.
