SOUTH FLORIDA Occurrence: Present

SOUTH FLORIDA Native Status: Native

South Florida History and Distribution: Ranked as critically imperiled in Rare Plants of South Florida (Gann et al. 2002; pp 420-422) based on occurrences in two conservation areas in Miami-Dade County: Camp Owaissa Bauer and Everglades National Park. Plants at Camp Owaissa Bauer have not been observed in many years and it is possibly extirpated there. However, it was photographed on private property in Miami-Dade County in 2014, discovered in Broward County by Pat Howell in 2009 (1103 USF), and by Fernando Rocha Vento and colleagues in Palm Beach County in 2022.

SOUTH FLORIDA Cultivated Status: Not Cultivated
