South Florida History and Distribution: Recorded as Presumed Extirpated in Rare Plants of South Florida (
Gann et al. 2002, pp 61-62), based on a single collection from LaBelle in 1934. Reported as rediscovered in South Florida in Lee County in 2007 and at Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary, in the Collier County portion (Wilder & McCollom 2018).
