General Landscape Uses: An aggressive native weed. Not recommended for general landscape use.

Range: Eastern United States west to North Dakota and Texas and south to the Monroe County Keys; an introduced weed elsewhere.

Wildlife and Ecology: Larval host plant for checkered white (Pontia protodice) and European cabbage white butterflies (Pieris rapae); occasional larval host plant for great southern white (Ascia monuste) butterflies.
