General Landscape Uses: Specimen tree or hedge plant.

Availability: Commonly available at native plant nurseries in northeast Florida. Available at native plant nurseries in central Florida.

Description: Small, single-trunked evergreen holly with and open crown. 15-25 feet tall with dark green leaves.

Dimensions: Typically 15-25 feet in height. Taller than broad.

Growth Rate: Medium.

Range: Walton county.

Soils: Well-drained to slightly moist, acid soil.

Nutritional Requirements:

Light Requirements: Full sun to light shade.

Flower Color: White.

Flower Characteristics: Inconspicuous.

Flowering Season: Spring.

Fruit: Bright red berries in showy clusters in late fall and winter.

Wildlife and Ecology: Attracts pollinators. Provides food for wildlife.
