Kate grew up skiing and hiking the mountains of Colorado. In 2006, she graduated from the University of Colorado with a B.A. in Environmental Science, with an emphasis in hydrology. After about a year’s hiatus from working life, Kate became a volunteer for the IRC in 2007. She has since become a vibrant member of the team as a Field Biologist, working primarily on our restoration crew, and Assistant to the Director.
