  • Assist with field data collection in various projects in South Florida.
  • Manage project schedule and assist with administrative duties.

Biological Technician: Monitoring Vegetative Responses in the Everglades to Hydrological Alterations with Restoration.

University of Florida Cooperative Fish and Wildlife Research Unit (US Geological Survey) (2005-2006).

  • Assisted with field data collection designated to evaluate the alteration of critical habitat for the endangered Florida snail kite in responses to hydrological change.
  • Performed monthly and annual vegetation samples in the different plant communities of the Everglades.
  • Vegetation sorting and identification to determine community composition.
  • Monitored hydrological fluctuations from several areas within the Everglades.
  • Surveying with Trimble GPS units.
  • Organizing and entering data.

  • Bred sets of tadpoles for description.

  • Described social, courtship and parental behaviors of Colostethus kingsburyi.
