General Landscape Uses: Not native. Long cultivated and sometimes naturalizing in South Florida.

Availability: Widely cultivated.

Wildlife and Ecology: Larval host plant for Brazilian skipper (Calpodes ethlius) butterflies. It also provides food for birds.
